St. Luke United Methodist Church

Omaha, NE | April 2015

CWPA worked with St. Luke United Methodist Church to provide a Master Planning study evaluating. The study provided options for updated secure daycare entry, renovated daycare rooms and corridors, church entry vestibule with iconic exterior tower, great room/multi-purpose room renovation with AV equipment upgrades, administration wing addition, expanded parking and vehicle circulation improvements, and exterior courtyard and landscaping. Based on a “needs vs. wants” list, a phased master plan was determined to be the best way to approach the modifications generated through the Master Planning study.

Phase 1 construction includes renovation of all daycare spaces. New carpet, paint, window coverings, and millwork was provided throughout the space. Additionally, renovation of the great room/multi-purpose room in-filled the hazardous sunken seating area in center of the space, re-oriented the focal point of the space for increased viewing zone, provided AV equipment for a modern worship environment, and updated floor and wall finishes.
