ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH

Bellevue, NE | Estimated Completion: Summer 2026
6,800 sq. ft. Renovation

CWP partnered with St. Bernadette Catholic Church to renovate their mid-century sanctuary, guiding a transformation that reflects a renewed emphasis on sacredness in worship. The design vision centers on a “return to the sacred,” re-establishing the tabernacle as the focal point of the Mass while strengthening the overall spiritual experience within the sanctuary.

The approximately 6,800-square-foot renovation includes updates to the sanctuary, altar, choir loft, and confessionals. As part of the redesign, the music ministry will be relocated to the underutilized choir loft to enhance acoustics and better support the liturgical function of the space.

CWP’s work includes finishes consultation, space planning, design development, phasing strategies, the preparation of construction documents, and construction administration. The team also supported the development of a broader renovation master plan, providing visualizations and cost studies to assist parish leadership with planning and fundraising efforts.

Construction began in 2025 and is expected to be completed summer 2026.
