CWP designed this 135-bed county detention facility to serve both male and female populations on an 8-acre site in Columbus, Nebraska. The full-service complex includes administration, intake, visitation, hearing, and program spaces, along with food service, laundry, and recreation areas. A geothermal HVAC system and daylighting strategies reduce energy use while creating a more normalized, humane environment for inmates and staff.
