Elkhorn, NE | September 2019
20,000 sq. ft.
A family-owned, nationally-recognized, general agency that helps brokers navigate the dynamic world of insurance, OCI required a new headquarters to meet their current and quickly expanding business and employee needs. Desiring a true open office plan with multiple work style choices available to employees, OCI sought the assistance of CWP to provide concepts in modern office environments and tailor designs to their specific needs. With conversation privacy a concern, CWP organized the space with public and gathering areas up front, and private work areas tucked behind. Decorative acoustical wall and ceiling treatments and white noise add to the modern aesthetic while canceling the transmission of noise through the space.
The open work plan utilizes glass front office walls at the perimeter and perforated
acoustical dividers, allowing natural light to penetrate the entire floor plate. Low center
station dividers were utilized to allow for unobstructed views of the surrounding golf
course and greenscape. Modern stone, dark woods, and punches of OCI signature
red complete the rich, sleek, and exciting interior.
