CWPA began working with the North Bend Central Public School District in 2011. Early projects included a district facility analysis (2011), a fourth grade classroom addition at their elementary building (2012), and the resurfacing of their existing running track (2013). In the fall of 2012 CWPA helped facilitate a series of public meetings to help establish and promote a bond issue for capital improvements within the district.
For the high school, the bond issue included a new competition gym, varsity locker rooms, a dedicated athletic entrance, concessions, new athletic storage, a new science wing, and an expansion of administrative offices. It also included renovations to the existing weight lifting room, locker rooms, conversion of the old science labs into special education, and new HVAC in the existing gym. At the Elementary school facility, the bond included a new multipurpose gym addition with concessions and associated storage. The bond election in March 2013 was a great success as voters overwhelmingly approved the bond with 752 votes in favor and 206 votes against.
