This project was a partnership between the Metro YMCA and the City of Glenwood. This YMCA/Community Center consists of a 30,750 sq. ft. building that is connected to a 16,340 sq. ft. Community Center (a remodeled former National Guard Armory). The new spaces include a public reception/lobby, a fitness center, a natatorium, gymnasium, and locker rooms. Remodeled spaces include a community center/kids gym, teen center, child care areas, game room, and multi-use spaces. A protected outdoor children’s play area is located in a courtyard between the two buildings.
