In August 2003, the congregation at Lutheran Church of the Master approved a dual-site ministry concept in order to facilitate continuing growth. Carlson West Povondra Architects was hired to help in the development of both projects.

For the new facility, 28 acres of ground were purchased at 180th and West Dodge Road. The project was planned in two primary phases. Phase one will include a 7,200 sq. ft. Christian Life Center (multi-purpose/worship space), meeting, and administrative spaces. The total area of phase one is expected to be approximately 27,000 sq. ft.

The major element of phase two is a sanctuary with seating for 1,000 – expandable to seating for 1,500 plus. Phase two also includes expansion of the narthex/gathering space, nursery, administrative offices, meeting space, classrooms, and new music rehearsal and storage space.
